Reindeer Run and Family Holiday Festival Recap

Despite the rain and cold weather, the first Reindeer Run was a success on Saturday, December 17.  Over 1,000 runners braved the wet weather to run the 5K race on Bayshore Blvd.  The Lightning Foundation event, benefiting Epilepsy Charities and Pepin Heart Hospital, also included a holiday festival on the St. Pete Times Forum plaza.  While mom and dad ran the race, kids had the opportunity to make crafts in the holiday workshop, along with playing putt-putt golf and enjoying the holiday entertainment.  Overall, participants had a fantastic time and raised money for a great cause.
