TII 16U Ellenton, Fl. | Pools | Rink Info There is another local Florida Team battling for a National Championship -- The Ellenton Eels Under 16 Midget Team. The Eels will be hosting eleven teams from around the United States who have fought their way through to the Nationals by winning their regional district championships. Teams from as far away as the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska will challenge the Florida State Champion Eels for USA Hockey's National Championship. McDonald's Lightning Hockey Night Lightning captain Dave Andreychuk will be on hand Wednesday, November 26 as the first of five McDonald's Lightning Hockey Night radio shows will be broadcast live from the McDonald's at 920 E. Fowler Avenue in Tampa. Andreychuk joining hosts Jason Dixon and Dave Mishkin from 7-8 p.m. McDonald's Lightning Hockey Night airs live every Wednesday that the Lightning do not have a game from 7-9 p.m. on 620 WDAE. The next McDonald's Lightning Hockey Night is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3 at the McDonald's located at 1520 W. Kennedy Blvd in Tampa. |

PLACE YOUR BIDLightning Foundation Jersey Auction: The Tampa Bay Lightning are hosting their annual Game Worn Jersey Auction starting January 8th and continuing through, January 21, 2002. The jerseys being auctioned off are the 2001-2002 game worn home (white) jerseys from each member of the team. They were worn at various times from the pre-season to the end of December 2001. The auction will benefit the Lightning Foundation. The Lightning Foundation is dedicated to the support of local organizations that enrich and enhance the lives of those living throughout the Tampa Bay community. |
